So, it's been a LONG time since I posted an entry because I have fallen off the wagon something terrible LOL! I don't think I've worked out in, like, 10 days so I've got some recovery that needs to take place. I know my last run went wonderfully, but since it has been so long since I've run, I think it's reasonable to expect I may have to work a little bit harder to get back, and beyond, that 29:41 time that I celebrated. But in this process, I have to remember that this weight loss/better health goal is a journey and, in every journey, there are some detours. Sometimes you want to take the scenic route that goes past fast food restaurants. Sometimes you stop by the Ghiradelli factory and taste test all of the chocolate goodies. But, eventually, you have to get back on the road and back on track, so that's where I am right now.
Ugh. I hate being back at square 1 but, as I'm learning and continue to tell other people, I am responsible for my actions and behavior so if I want to move forward, I need to stop holding myself back. :)
